Journalists Lauds Prof. Armaya'u Bichi Giant Strides


There are some that do not care about what they will leave as their legacies after leaving office, but we can say that the desire of any good leader is to perform excellently.

The Federal University Dutsinma is fortunate to have a leader that has the desire of performing creditably for the development of the institution. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Professor Armayau Hamisu Bichi , has ensured that every sector of the university feels his impact positively.

The achievements recorded by the vice-chancellor have earned him recognition across the country, whereby his name nominated for AREWA MEDIA PRACTITIONERS AWARD and FOREIGN PRESS ASSOCIATION AWARD. 


 Some notable achievements of the vice-chancellor include provision of houses for staff, enhancing revenue generation and exploring options of investment in revenue generating ventures and introducing new programmes. Others are staff training and development, ensuring the full accreditation of academic programmes and quality control, development of e-library, improving the existing synergy between the governing council and senate, stabilisation of the university calendar and admission process, among others. 


The desire and commitment of the vice-chancellor towards ensuring the development of the university have made it possible for him to make judicious use of the funds allocated to the university by TETFUND. One of the projects that became visible in the university under Bichi's administration is the senate complex, new male hostels, professorial quarters, new faculties building.
    


A Businessman in Dutsinma katsina state Alhaji Usman Dutsinma has commended Prof.  Armayau Bichi , for his giant strides and achievements recorded so far under his able supervision and leadership.

Alhaji Usman, in his statement during an interview with journalists that visited FUDU commended the VC for putting in place necessary administrative and result oriented programmes across the University.

The businessman further congratulated and applauded the VC for the giant strides and unmatchable achievements so far within the short period of his assumption of office.

Usman Dutsinma wishes the VC more successes in the future, he assured him of their continuous and unflinching support to ensuring that his mission vision in the university is achieved as soon as possible.
